Doug's comments are good. An additional complication is filming for the Batman movie is getting ready to start. The parking on Winthop between Craig and Dithridge is pretty much all blocked off now. Being summer, you should have good luck on Craig or any of the side streets on the East side of Craig -- the side opposite the PSC building. It's not a long walk up from the Museum and I think they have an evening rate.

Street Parking is usually be pretty easy to find after 5pm.
There are 4hr meters on S Dithridge and S Bellfield, 2hr meters are on Winthrop and Filmore, and 1 hr meters on Craig and Forbes. There is also a garage on S Dithridge, but last time I drove by it was leases only.
Just bring a bunch of quarters, the meters are checked until 10pm.
    See you there,
    Doug

I think you will be fine with a high level understanding of Hadoop / Mahout / NoSql.

    Hi,

I'm looking forward to my first Hadoop Meetup. I have only a high-level overview of Hadoop / Mahout / NoSql. Would these talks require a deeper understanding of these technologies ?

    Sonal.
