We're going camping! Please join us at Illinois Beach State Park on October 11th - October 12th for a two action-packed days of camping, exploring, and habitat restoration at one of the most significant natural areas in Illinois!
Don't have a car or some basic camping gear? No worries -- let us know and we'll hook (or pick) you up.
Note: There will be a small fee collected from each camper to cover the cost of food, campsite reservation, gas, etc.

5:30 PM - depart from several meet-up points in Chicago
6:00 PM - caulk cars and ford river
6:30 PM - arrive at Illinois Beach State park and strike camp
- campfire, smores, schenanigans
9 - noon Habitat Restoration
Noon Lunch on the beach
Noon - 600 PM Hiking, exploration, botanizing, swimming, asbestos hunting
6 PM dinner
7 PM depart
*There is an option of spending a second night. Please let us know if you are interested.
The Zion Metra Station (Union Pacific North Line) is very close to IBSP. This is may be a good option for those who arriving late or leaving early and do not have a vehicle.
