Ladies and Gents,
I need your help! I'm leading a gullywalking expedition along the North Branch of the Chicago River this weekend. This is a WONDERFUL opportunity to see the plants, animals, and detritus of the North Branch up close and personal. Plus, it's a great way to be a CITIZEN SCIENTIST: we need to identify and pinpoint gullies -- erosional landforms that can dramatically diminish the quality of the riparian environment -- to help the FPCC prioritize restoration resources. The adventure begins at Bluestar at 2 PM on SUNDAY. Lemme know if you might be interested!
