What was the last DIY project that you started?

There are so many, Last onei started was trying to make a simple RPM counter in arduino.

What was the last DIY project that you finished?

Finished? I practice the Americanized co-opted Japanese concept of "Kaizen" or continuous improvement. My projects often make it to the 90% mark, and then i get distracted by the next shiny thing. I guess my latest one is a pretty small footnote in general geekery, it was a gate closer for my porch...

What are your hacker/maker areas of interest?

Everything, Although truth be told im really bad at programming, Alternative techniques for Photography, telepresence, robotics, demos, locksmithing, and supporting other peoples projects

What are you looking for in a hackerspace?

Community, Looking for other people to grab this hackerspace by the bootstraps and keep it evolving and growing!

Introduction

Hi there, I'm geek of all trades. I helped found & volunteer at our local hackerspace to make sure it continues and grows! Because I think the hacker is a endangered species, and very important for the future!

What adric is saying about this Meetup Group

Its still fledgeling, The Albuquerque maker community has yet to really find each other. But i think there is a core of makers here that if motivated could very well rival some of the biggest cities.
