Arduino Hackers

The Arduino meetup group meets at Hacker Lab on the first and third Thursdays of every month.

The idea is that you show up after 5 PM with the equipment you need to work:

- your laptop

- a USB cable

- Bring an Arduino card. They are available at Radio Shack for a reasonable price.

Work on a project or help someone with their project. We are here to learn together, and to work together on huge projects.

For each meeting, a subject will be announced at least a week before the meeting. At the meeting we will announce a challenge based on that subject. If you are interested, you can participate in trying to accomplish the challenge with everyone working together.

Thank you, and happy hacking!

I have Raspberry Pi but no Arduino.
Can I join so I can find out things we can practically do with the devices?

And yes, can I bring along my 2 boys who are techies.

Hi. Interested in the group. Am programmer by trade, but just getting started with Arduino. Would you guys be open to a total newbie or would I just suck the living energy out of you all?

Kelley, I would encourage you to go, if for no other reason so I don't feel left out as I am a newbie myself ... lol!

Hi WildZBill. Not sure how useful I'll be, but I'll show up anyway with my card and accessories. I'm somewhat new to Arduino myself but have been going through the tutorials in the starter kit to quickly try and get up to speed. I'm also fascinated by the possibilities of doing some really creative stuff using the Ethernet Shield to have it interact remotely with a browser, having gone through some simple tutorials on that and varying them a bit.
