Have an idea for a metal fabrication project? Have you taken the intro to welding class or have previous experience? This lab is your opportunity to make your idea into reality with assistance on materials, design and use of tools. The lab is every Sunday 1-3
One on one discussion, problem solving, and fabrication of students project.
How to prepare
Wear 100% cotton pants (jeans) and a long sleeve 100% cotton shirt. Closed toe shoes, leather boots are ideal. Don't wear anything that you don't mind getting dirty. If you have them bring safety glasses and work gloves.
What will you get out of this class?
This lab will provide intermediate level welders who have already taken the intro to welding class or have previous experience, to work on there own projects with the assistance of instructors. The labs will also give students a chance to refine their welding skills with the goal of ultimately getting checked off for working un-supervised with the MIG welder and other metal shop equipment.
