Beginner CAD Design for 3D Printing

Want to see what all the fuss about 3D printing is? Interested in learning how to bring your own designs into the physical realm? In this class you will learn how to use the FreeCAD platform to create 3D printed objects. As well as the basics(emphasis on basics) of 3D computer aided drafting. Note: This is a hands-on class. You will be designing part(s) for possible 3D printing.

After finishing this class you will be able to create a basic enclosure design for 3D printing, and have a knowledge base to create future designs for 3D printing.

Beginner level. No prior experience necessary.

Teacher Bio
My name is Alan M. Ware. I graduated from Bradley University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2007. I have worked with various CAD systems over last 10 years(AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ProENGINEER). I was a SolidWorks CAD Administrator during my tenure at Rockwell Collins, Inc.
