Following up discussion about G20 and trade:

Country and commodity trade data spreadsheet

This spreadsheet contains the raw data used to generate the Country by commodity (Standard International Trade Classification) pivot table,[masked], published on the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) website and located at http://www.dfat.gov.au/publications/stats-pubs/pivot-tables.html. It presents Australia’s merchandise exports and imports by commodity with its trading partners, for each country, selected country group and selected geographical region.
The data are sourced from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) who derive it from data obtained by the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service. They are then concorded to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade TRIEC classification for presentation. The data is consistent with ABS monthly merchandise trade data as at September 2011.

I must grab the G20 countries as a data source to place this sort of analysis against.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
