Lightning talks

We've got an awesome lineup for a meetup at the Post this month! If you're not familiar with lightning talks, they're short, punchy, 5-minute spiels on a subject of the speaker's choosing. Check out these ones from last year's NICAR conference. We'll get to hear about some new projects and ideas, and there'll be a Q&A with the audience at the end.

Our lightning talkers are:

Derek Willis, New York Times interactive developer
Michelle Minkoff, AP interactive producer
Derek Lieu, DevelopmentSeed developer
Steven Rich, Washington Post database editor
Jeremy Bowers, NPR apps developer

Talks will begin at 6:30 sharp and end by 7:30. But afterward, come hang out at PostScript, across the street at 15th and M.

The threat of weather is keeping this Arlingtonian housebound. Too bad, was looking forward to it. Hope to catch the next one.
