Hey Marck, the meetup today was great! How are we supposed to pay the $10? I thought there would be a signin table, but I didn't see one.

The Hadoop group met at the Library of Congress. It's downtown, near a metro, but I cannot vouch for parking. Do the DC public libraries have meeting rooms? Probably cannot bring food in. For sure, no beer.

i could give a demo of some of R's spatial analysis tools.
might be able to get Va Tech's new Ballston center as a venue.
