Hack free time: D3.JS and a possible panel series

Thanks to Luis at IdeaNerd and kleverdog for sharing their space and Meetup time for a monthly get-together.

Consider this free time to come and work on projects alongside knowledgeable journalists/hackers who might be able to help.

You're welcome to bring your own project and hack away. Groups of us will also gell together and consider a few of our pet projects:

* A simple tutorial for D3.js

* Plans for a possible panel series on open data

Because of the size of the space, we have to cap the member list at the first 20 to respond. So sign up soon. And please cancel if you sign up and find you can't make it at the last minute.

Have a look at ideas for future meetup themes and add your own!

We're also hoping to make our meetups more regular. Let us know if you have ideas for spaces that might accomodate 20-30 hacks and or hackers for a few hours on a regular basis. (access to food and beverages a plus).

See you Thursday!

Eric

    Sounds treat but it conflicts with the LARuby meetup.

    I'm not sure if I'm going to be responsible for whittling down the attendance numbers by doing this, but for those of you who can't make it, the d3.js book I was going to mention is Scott Murray's book: http://chimera.labs.oreilly.com/books/1230000000345/index.html
