Urban Sustainability Apps Competition

Post #: 6
Want a fun, challenging opportunity to make mobile apps for the social good? Chicago's own urban sustainability think tank, the Center for Neighborhood Technology, is organizing an Urban Sustainability Apps Competition. The goal is to team up app designers, developers, coders and programmers with activists and leaders from Chicago neighborhoods including Englewood, Lawndale, Woodlawn and Little Village. The teams will then create apps that help the neighborhoods get greener, more affordable and more livable.

The competition will take place Tuesday evenings in October (Oct. 1st, 8th, and 15th) at 1871, with a final event at TechNexus on October 18-20th.

For more info and to RSVP, check out the Apps Competition page at http://cntapps.splash... or e-mail me directly at
