Hacks/Hackers:Rochester - Needs your input on projects

From: Matt B.

Hello Hacks & Hackers,

Thanks again for a great kick-off meeting (for a great write up of it, Brian from Interloc’s blog post:! Our next meeting is a little over a week away, 7.00pm Wednesday, Feb 15th at RIT.

At the January meeting, we started to identify interesting projects for the group to work on. We’re still looking for more ideas. What types of tools could we create to improve reporting in Rochester? How can we make your job easier? What topics and projects get you motivated?

We're looking for input from EVERYONE. You can submit ideas by replying to this email, via our discussion board at the meetup site, and when you RSVP for the February meeting.

All the ideas are collected and placed in an online poll. We’ll organize brainstorming sessions at the February meeting around the most popular topics in the poll. If you’re interested in leading one of those brainstorming groups, reply to this email.

We want to hear your ideas! Even if you can’t make the meeting, please submit your ideas and take the poll.

Hope everyone’s New Year is going well, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone next week at the RIT Student Innovation Center.

Ps. We’re always on the lookout for presenters for future meetings. If you have a cool project to talk about or some learnings to share, please reply to this email.
