Absolutely. My experiences in a multi-faith environment have left me with little doubt that no particular faith is the source of all things right and good. If we are to take responsibility for our flaws, surely it is also right to be happy with our kindnesses and giving natures towards humanity. I think that taking personal responsibility for both the good and the bad will lead to a better world. If we assign good and evil to other beings, I think we present ourselves as pawns.
Not at all. I think that spirituality comes from a strong acceptance and sense of self as well as empathy towards others... not necessarily communion with the supernatural.
I wanted to be part of a community, however, being non-religious, I wasn't sure where to start. Thank you Google. I have already spoken to another family member who also wishes to join the Ontario organization.
I work for the University of Toronto for the CIO. I look forward to meeting you all.
