We represent the community to Clackamas County, Oregon City, Metro, the State of Oregon, and local jurisdictions and entities. Our purpose is to enhance the livability, sustainability, and functioning of our community, and to direct community planning to preserve the rural character of our area. By joining this group you can be better informed of land use actions, our meetings, and community events.
The Hamlet is happy to announce the ability to report non-emergency issues and let the Board know about them, easily and quickly. Just go to
SeeClickFix and stick a virtual pin in the map to pin-point the location and give a brief description of the problem. We'll get an email and can then try to get the problem fixed.
We were pleased to learn about a new resource for young farmers. With the average of farmers in Oregon being the oldest that it has ever been, at 57, a lot of agricultural land will change ownership in the near future. Many young farmers, who might live in the Hamlet, may need some help with farming resources. Now
IFarmOregon.org is available to help.
The Hamlet of Beavercreek is concerned and active about issues facing rural, unincorporated areas in the regional Urban and Rural Reserves process. See our page on
Urban and Rural Reserves for more detail. To communicate our concerns, we developed and presented materials to the Clackamas County Urban and Rural Reserves Policy Advisory Committee, the Board of County Commissioners, and the Metro Regional council. All the materials are available individually in our
Files section, and can also be downloaded as a package in a
zip file.
The Hamlet's
Bylaws and a map of its
Recognized Area are available for download from the
Files section. You can also link to an
interactive map of the Recognized Area.
Items for upcoming meetings will be posted on the
Message Board.
