From the Hamlet of Beavercreek Bylaws:

Membership in the Hamlet of Beavercreek shall be open to anyone 18 years old or older who is a resident, a property owner, or a designated representative of a business, corporation, or trust within the Recognized Area. Membership will be granted to all persons upon showing proof of eligibility and signing the official membership/attendance register. Membership will lapse if the member is no longer eligible. Participation is by individual initiative rather than by governmental or Hamlet invitation.

Joining this Meetup web site does not make you a member eligible to vote at Hamlet meetings. You must attend a meeting and sign the register to become a voting member. All Hamlet Community and Town Hall meetings are posted on the Calendar. Everyone is welcome to attend Hamlet functions and meetings. The age requirement is only to be a voting member.
