Update: Calling all riders! Experienced and Novice alike. Let's celebrate the first day of longer daylight hours and ride our hearts out. We'll go ahead and unwind after the ride with pizza and mountain bike sodas at Round Table (pitchers on me).
To all my fellow mountain bikers:
Come join us as we master the ins and outs of the Granite Bay trail. This ride is designed with the novice and more experienced rider alike. No rider will be left behind. There will always be someone around to ensure that everybody feels safe and has a good time.
Mountain biking is an exciting sport that can be enjoyed by everyone who knows how to ride. It does, however, present some additional challenges compared to the average neighborhood ride. Master these basic skills and turn those obstacles into something to look forward to. We will reserve plenty of time to tackle those hills and master those turns with confidence. Perhaps our more experienced riders can show us how to navigate through the technical spots with ease.
All abilities are welcome! We will meet at the Cavitt Junior High parking lot at 1:00 pm and start riding 15 minutes later. Expect to be out on the trails for at about 90 minutes or longer. Depending on rider turn out, we may break up into groups mixing riders of different levels together!
Please bring a well-tuned mountain bike. Remember to bring a spare tube and plenty of hydration (water or electrolyte beverage) and a light snack if needed. HELMETS ARE ALWAYS REQUIRED. Please ride at your own risk.
We will enjoy some mountain bike sodas and yummy treats after the ride. Hope to see you on the trails!

I don't think I've ever ridden GB, so Mitzi, you still have to lead, OK?
