Now behind is 2012, you'll notice day light after work is giving us more time to stretch our legs. So, I have a solution! Lets have some fun and ride our favorite trails! I recommend hydrating with water the day before the ride and the day of to help your performance. Eating a meal an hour or 2 before so you don't bonk, meaning; Over killing your motor.
People have questioned; Whats the distance, how fast is the pace and will I be able to keep up?.. Average pace should be about 13mph+ on flat ground. Distance is about 20mi round trip so you will be able to get in that work out. You should be familiar with your bike and terrain that we will be ridding. If we can assist you to better your skills please fill free to ask questions! There will be a handful of people who will want to ride at more of a social pace so feel free to do so. For the (Advanced) riders we will be doing more of a race pace of 15+mph. We will break off into groups depending on rider turn out and skill level. As always, ride at your own risk and have fun. Please bring a well tuned bike, a helmet, plenty of water and snacks for during the ride, two fully charged lamps for a few more weeks and a stable mind.
Ps: Other Group Organizers might be a host for future Thursday evening rides, due to my work and school scheduled. Location may change in the future to lake side beverages.
