Hampton Roads Preppers Pages

This group focuses on meeting the needs of active Preppers within the Hampton Roads Virginia area. That area includes the cities of Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach.

If you are outside the area (i.e. Williamsburg/Yorktown or NE NC), you must be able to commute to Virginia Beach, Virginia monthly for training.

Mission Statement

Hampton Roads Preppers has 2 primary goals.

1. Provide a venue in support of a social network of preppers that can teach/train/mentor each other on developing "Prepper" skills that will assist in feeding, sheltering, providing medical care, radio communications and self-protection for themselves and those they love and care for. Foster a desire to assist other group members in the event of a natural disaster and facilitate required support in the event of a localized disaster.

2. Provide a venue where individuals can form groups under the Hampton Roads Preppers umbrella that would band together for support/sustainment/protection in the event there is a catastrophic societal collapse. It’s unrealistic for all members of the group to finance a single bug out location (retreat). This is likely a bridge too far.

There are those in the group who have their own bug out locations. It’s likely that these "retreats" have insufficient manpower to secure and sustain themselves. These individuals would benefit in servings as a host for Preppers with no place to go other than join the ranks of the refugees. Collectively the hosts and their partners could thrive at a host’s location during such an eventuality.

Note: This is not a web-based support group. Attendance at Hampton Roads Preppers Meetups is the way you become and continue to be a member of this group. If you are unable to be physically socially active, this is not the group for you.
