12 Miler and Coffee Meetup

Join us for a long-run followed by the monthly coffee meet-up on! This run is scheduled to coincide with other HRR runs the same morning which will finish at about the same time and place so everyone can meet for coffee & conversation at Starbucks, corner of Pacific & 31st street at the Oceanfront.

This 12 mile run will meet-up and begin on the boardwalk at 31st street next to the King Neptune statue at 7:30 am. From there we'll run north up the boardwalk and Atlantic avenue to 64th street, enter First Landing State Park and run the main Cape Henry Trail to the Trail Center end of the park. We will return to the oceanfront the same way. There is water & rest rooms at the Trail Center (halfway point) but at last check the water at 64th street is still turned off, plan to carry your liquid of choice and gels if you need them. Expect running 8:45 to 9:15 pace but it will really depend on who comes out and how everyone is feeling that morning. If this is a larger group we can break up into faster & slower groups which has worked well on past runs. This is meant to be a social run with no pressure; you can run at your own pace.
