Water, sunshine, paddling, music, and beautiful people! My favorite way to spend a Sunday!
Somehow the warm, gentle winds of Hawaii seem to blow at Hana Hou in Newport Beach! Hana Hou means "encore" and I really look forward every Sunday to another Day of Rest, "playing it again" in God's Great Outdoor beach cathedral. Just taking in the warm sun, the relaxing water, the adventuresome canoe excursions, the happy ukulele music and the fun-loving, friendly people is like taking a relaxing Hawaiian vacation every week without the 7 hour flight and the pricey airfare! Whether I'm enjoying sitting in the beach shade chatting with friends, nibbling from a vast variety of luau morsels, learning ukulele from amazing teachers like Uncle Harry, or experiencing a canoe paddle ride around beautiful Balboa Island with Captains John & Loretta, I feel life is beautiful and I am blessed to experience this heavenly paradise of a club here in my own backyard. Encore! Play it again! Hana Houuuuuuuuuuu!
