Introduction
Hi, my name is Jen and I live in Jamaica Plain. I am really interested in this organization and its mission--it kind of melds two things that I'm very interested in and have experience with--percussion and working with trauma survivors.
Have you ever drummed before?
Yes. I have been playing percussion off and on since fifth grade. My current drum of choice is a djembe from the Ivory Coast.
Are you a trauma survivor?
No, I'm not.
How did you hear about the HandReach Beat Brigade?
Through various drumming circles, and I also ran into you at the Wake up the Earth Festival.
