“Music at Noon” is a tradition seen and heard in many churches on weekdays. Our neighbor “up the street” Pasadena Presbyterian Church has offered this program continuously for years and years.
The 30-minute concerts start promptly at 12:10p and are followed by a time for visiting while we enjoy a brown bag lunch available for a nominal donation ($3).
Plan to arrive by noon – the doors near the Chancel area will be closed during the concert and late arrivers must enter on the Fremont side through the Narthex.
Starting on Friday, March 8th, in the sanctuary, we will offer our first program with members of the ensemble “Angels of Venice.” This group is a harp, cello, flute and vocal group founded by harpist Carol Tatum in 1993. The group's core sound is harp, flute and cello but also combines Middle Eastern, medieval and neoclassical styles. We will hear voice and harp members from this ensemble.
Mark your calendar now for the other Fridays in March, too – March 15, March 22, and March 29. Then, call and invite a friend! We hope to share this experience with all of our South Pasadena community friends and neighbors. Artists for the other weeks in March will be announced during each week.
