Authenticity, Revealing the Real

Each of us goes out into the world every day, wearing masks. They serve as protection, subterfuge, entertainment, distraction and denial. Without them, we may feel naked and vulnerable and while wearing them, we may feel invincible. What if "God was one of us?" How would that change the ways in which we view ourselves, our roles in the world and how we interact with the other 'God-beings' that inhabit the planet with us? This interactive workshop will introduce participants to the personae they exhibit that may or not serve them. We will explore ways to remove the façade and enter into life in an authentic way. Creating masks will be part of our time together. Rev. Edie Weinstein, LSW, is a writer, speaker, licensed social worker, interfaith minister and radio show host. $45 (includes supplies)
