Functional Programming Principles with Scala (Coursera Study Group)

Working Group for individuals taking the Martin Odersky class taught at Le École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. Find a programming partner to work with.

The first assignment is too easy to have a review.

Starting with week 2, 5/5. Review of HW1. Group demos

Individual Presentations of hw solutions for Coursera class on Scala to make sure you do the homework and to practice presentation skills.

Change in sponsor to Unix Surplus, John Bodo and Sean Bailey.

Taught by the Scala Inventor himself. This is a 7 week class starting 4/23.

We will have future meetups and opportunities to contribute with the AmpLab BDAS stack which will require Scala proficiency. Don't get left behind!

The first lectures and hw assignment 1 is available.

Sign up here: https://www.coursera.org/course/progfun

There will be 6 more meetups following the first session once the full schedule is announced on Coursera or by Prof. Odersky.
