Announcing a new Meetup for The New York Laughter Yoga Meetup Group!

What: Music and Merriment in Madison Square Park (hopefully no rain!) Part 1

There will be concerts in Madison Square Park on Weds nights through July and the first week in August ...
So plan on doing some Laughter Yoga on Weds for a few weeks!


IF LESS THAN FIVE PEOPLE COMMIT TO COMING AT 5:30 pm... THERE WILL ONLY BE LAUGHTER YOGA AT THE END OF THE CONCERT. If less than 5 people are there at the end of the concert we won't have any laughter AT ALL!!





This Weds the music will be played by:
The Grammy-nominated Duhks fuse roots music with funk, rock and world beats in their original eco-concious grooves. Currently touring as The Duhks Sustainability Project (greenduhks.com), the group is promoting their album Fast Paced World, nominated for a 2009 Juno* Award for Roots & Traditional Album of The Year.
* The Juno award is equivalent to our Grammies in Canada.
AND
The female trio Red Molly mixes old and new in their fun, infectious Americana. Winners of the 2008 John Lennon Songwriting Contest and an Online Folk Festival Top 10 of 2008, the group is gaining recognition for their tight three-part harmonies and powerful stage presence.


Bring a take-out dinner or snack for the concert .... or (if you can stomach them, get a burger at the Shake Shack)

This should be a great night .... if it doesn't rain.

Please check your emails mid-day the day of the concert, in case it rains & I have to cancel.
