Announcing a new Meetup for The New York Laughter Yoga Meetup Group!

What: Music& Merriment in Madison Square Park (hopefully no rain!)

When: July 15, 2009 6:00 PM

MeetUp fee contribution : $1.00 or less per person (just to cover MeetUP fees)

There will be concerts in Madison Square Park on Weds nights through July and the first week in August ...
So plan on doing some Laughter Yoga on Weds for a few weeks!


IF LESS THAN FIVE PEOPLE COMMIT TO COMING by 6:10 pm... we won't have any laughter AT ALL!!





This Weds the music will be played by:
Multi-instrumentalist and Pulitzer finalist Don Byron continues his role as musical historian and adventurer as he celebrates the legacy of Motown soul legend, Junior Walker. "Calling Don Byron a jazz musician is like calling the Pacific wet - it just doesn't begin to describe it. Byron has carpentered an extraordinary career precisely by obliterating the very idea of category." (TIME Magazine)


Bring a take-out dinner or snack for the concert .... or (if you can stomach them, get a burger at the Shake Shack) If you must have a burger I suggest the Burger Place just above 23rd St on PAS (near the subway)

This should be a great night .... if it doesn't rain.

Please check your emails mid-day the day of the concert, in case it rains & I have to cancel. If it has rained before the concert and the stage is set up at the FRONT of the park .... then please look for me by the fountain or the large tree w/o branches nearby the fountain ... and we'll laugh somewhere else.

I will be mailing my 'correct' cell # to those who RSVP Yes ... in case you can't find us.
