We will gather in Madison Square Park by the fountain nearest 23rd St, promptly at 11am.

Holding World Laughter Day placards we will laugh as we march down Broadway to Union Square.

If you have a portable musical instrument please feel free to accompany us with your music as we march!

Once at Union Square we will go on the lawn to Laugh for World Peace.

This will be followed by a message from Dr Kataria and a 2 minute prayer for World Peace, after which we will let go one final BIG LAUGH! Feel free to wear a funny hat or decoration.

Please come and bring your friends and family ... this will be a powerful experience for all involved.
Dozens of cities all over the world will be doing this today.
Email me for ideas for signs if you would like to bring one.

If this time to meet is too early for you ... we will be repeating this event at 12:30 by the steps in front of Union Square.

If you just come to Union Square you will miss the previous buildup to the event at Union Square, starting at Madison Sq Park. To make an analogy, it would be like getting to the basketball game when they're in the 4th quarter .... or coming in the 7th inning of a baseball game.

I would love to start st Madison Sq Park ... and brief everyone about how we will go about engaging people along the way ... to laugh for peace. We will go from 23rd St and wind our way down Broadway until we reach Union Square. Once there we will go on the lawn and do several laughter yoga exercises ... ending with Dr Kataria's Message for World Peace and a laughter meditation and prayer for world peace.

there are two meet up locations listed on the site - isn't the correct one to meet at Union Square?

I was unable to negotiate doing this at the UN because of construction going on there. But I think the alternative should be a lot of fun!!
