Come for the Laughter ~ ~ Stay for the Music (optional)

If this is the first time you are doing Laughter Yoga, please come on time to learn about it's history and what you have to do to participate fully.  Those who have done Laughter Yoga before can come by 6:15pm when we will begin our Laughter exercises.

No special clothes are needed ... not even a yoga mat.

Just bring your best laugh and get ready to laugh your stress away!

Look at the #15 on the map to the left ... walk through from 23rd& B'dway or Madison to the fountain in the circle to the northwest of the Shake Shack. The Laughter Yoga sign should be visible.  We will meet there. (You can also enter any other entrance and make your way to that location.)

If you come late, listen for the laughter!  Feel free to bring a friend or relative.

After, you're welcome to stay for the concert.  This is the opening concert of the 2013 season.  If tonight is successful, we can continue meeting on Weds, when possible, prior to the concerts ... to experience a Laughter Yoga session.

Tonight  7pm The music starts with Suzanne Vega

Vega is an American singer-songwriter of rare poetic genius and emerged as a leading figure of the folk-music revival of the early 1980s. Bearing the stamp of a masterful storyteller who “observed the world with a clinically poetic eye,” Suzanne’s songs have always tended to focus on city life, ordinary people and real world subjects. Notably succinct and understated, often cerebral but also streetwise, her lyrics invite multiple interpretations. Vega’s musical influences and favorites include Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, Laura Nyro and The Smiths.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
