We had so many request for smaller meetups (RSVP is limited to 25 or less). So I am going to try this as an experiment to see how popular these events are.
I do not mind hosting small meetups as I never cook and I eat out all most every night, so whats better way to do this with some friends. If this works out I may do this every day like that guy in New York :-)
The advantage of smaller meetups is that you never get lost in the crowed, how ever the disadvantage is we cant negotiate a discounted price on food and drinks after the happy hour.
This Tuesday we are going to go Big Rock, they have a nice bar area and good food. I love the Cajun steak bites they have. They have a happy hour menu that ends at 6 PM on Foods and 7 PM on Drinks. You can view it at
If you want to take advantage of them show up early but i am not going to show up until 7 PM as I work in downtown these days.
As many know I am 100% against the sit down style meetups where you get stuck with one person to your left, one on right and one on front for the whole night. Thus we will be at the bar area which allows every one to mingle. People who want to eat can eat at the bar or use the side tables.
Please note that our Thursday meetups are our flagship meetups, we will have a Thursday meetup regardless of rain or shine and we will always negotiate a discounted price on food and drinks plus attracting between 75 to 150 people.
Keep in mind, the happy hour rules still applies to these events. Make sure you read them if you have not done, Be nice, respect the RSVP rules.
