Love cross-country rides at a low intermediate to advanced pace? Our low would be 6 mph to a high of 10 mph. This is assuming there's lots of climbing! We offer short (around 10 miles) to endurance length rides (30+ miles). Want to meet up for some cyclocross training? Then it's short and fast!
We're social but we like to ride more than talk so our rides have short regroups. We save the gossiping for the après ride pub visit!
Are you experienced and know what to bring in the backcountry? We're friendly and encouraging but we're not coaches. This group is not for newbies. A person who is not prepared on a remote ride can endanger others.
We'll try to have detailed ride descriptions so you know what you're getting into. Feel free to push yourself and come on a ride that you think might be difficult for you - just accept that you might be dropped. Nothing personal! It's happened to all of us.
Anyone more than 5 minutes behind the group can be dropped but hopefully that person will be polite enough to bow out. No one is dropped without notification. So don't worry that if you crash while behind that you'll be abandoned!
Don't see what you're looking for? Suggest something. Better yet - lead a ride! The more the merrier.
To help cover our annual $144 dues to Meetup to host this site, we are passing the hat for a TINY annual contribution - $3. A bargain! First ride is free so you can check us out.
Hope this explains what our kind of rides are and that they're your kind of rides too! Don't hesitate to shoot me a question. Winona
