Meet by the statue outside to the left
Limited size party - If you RSVP show up. Don't be a flake and take the spot of someone who wants to be there.
Their happy Hour starts at 3:30 and goes till 6:30 and includes lots of different drinks and appetizers. Our start time is at 6:00 which is almost the end of happy hour. So come early to save money and MAKE FRIENDS. It will be hard to fit 20 or 30 people around the bar so we will meet outside at the statue to the left of the entrance. We'll mix, mingle and make friends. Maybe we'll do something later too.
As I've said before, fashionably late does not work. If you want to make friends show up early. The first half hour is best while conversations are starting to gel. Later people have already grouped together and it's harder to break into a conversation. In the past, if anyone complains "no one talked to me" it's always the people that showed up late. Don't be that person.
For mingling, it's better to stand and mingle, as compared to sitting. Also, there's nothing wrong keeping conversations short, especially for women. It's OK to chat with someone a while, then saying "It's nice meeting you, I'm going to mingle a bit" and move on to a new conversation. You can if you'd like, but you don't have to stay in the same conversation all night.
Party for the New Young Professional Happy Hour Singles and Friends. Please no add on's by other meetup groups and organizers.
