The Psychology of Orgasm

Come learn about how orgasm affects your brain chemistry, ability to feel happiness, and create limbic connection with other people!

Dr. Pooja Lakshmin is a graduate of Stanford University. She is currently heading the orgasm lab at Rutgers University with expert neuroscientist Barry Komisaruk PhD, where they are using fMRI technology to map the sensory pathways of the genitalia in the brain and nervous system as well as to establish the sequence of brain activity during orgasm and orgasmic meditation.

Orgasm, the activation of involuntary musculature in high sensation, has various positive effects on the mind and body. Dr. Lakshmin will be speaking about science behind orgasm and how understanding orgasm can bring happiness to your life.

the main think in life is to be happy and thank for things you have and don't be sorry and depressed for things you don't have
always smile an outside smile brings an inside smile.

When you add science to explain orgasm it seemed meaningless however after this fact it is wise to add romance to the explanation and watch for fireworks of sensation settling in the right place.

Okay. I agree I should not expect to have an orgasm at the event. ... But I do not think this is a serious concept for discussion. Or for academic research. To state the obvious (and the reason for NOT doing such research is because it is all so obvious): orgasms are best experienced. The moment you begin to discuss an orgasm, it all disappears.

Speaking of organism, this discussion topic is totally infertile. Relying on the positive psychology of organisms to generate interest in a topic is like teaching people to get rich by writing a book about how to get rich.

Actualy since it's coming up soon, I'll just add the details so you can see.

(Organizers, apologies in advance if this against your meetup's policy. I saw this suggested event hadn't had details added in a long time and Monday's event will be an awesome one!)

I hope people understand the difference between being a positively constructive person (mindfulness + pragmatism) and just thinking happy thoughts for conflict resolution. LOL... ;)
