It's Games Day! Board Games, Card Games & Trivia - Free To Attend! Full Menu!

It is sooo ON! This adult event will be open and free to everyone - members and their guests - just be sure to add your 'pluses' when you RSVP so that we have an idea how many we should expect. When you arrive, please ask for Daniel, who'll introduce you to other members of the group. From there, you can order some food/drink or you can simply get started on playing your favorite board games.

As for the room layout, there will be a number of different "Board Game" stations which are tables with different board games already set up - all you will have to do is pick a station and wait for some more players, or simply join a game already in progress!

The games that will be provided:

Decks of cards for Spades, Tonk, etc. • Uno • Taboo • Cards Against Humanity • Dominoes • Battle of the Sexes • Chess / Checkers • Connect Four • Cranium • Guesstures • Jenga • Scrabble • Trivial Pursuit

There will also be some open tables for people who would like to bring their own games - feel free to bring your favorite.

Again, this event is free and you are not required to buy food or drinks, but Shell's will have specials all day just for us! Let's help support them as they are supporting us for use of their space.

Directions to Shell's Bistro

Shell's Bistro is located on 5th Avenue, between 132nd & 131st Streets. The nearest subway station is the #2 or #3 train lines to the 135th Street. From the street, walk 3 blocks south on Lenox, then make a left on Lenox & 132nd toward 5th Avenue. Nearby bus lines include the M1, M7 & M102.

The event starts at 2pm and is officially over at 8pm, but may run a little longer, depending on energy/turnout/interest.

As always, feel free to call/text [masked] if you have any questions, running late, need additional directions, etc...

Thanks!

- Daniel

Always such a good time! Even worth the trek (it used to be so convenient on E 103rd). Thanks again for organizing! Looking forward to the next one.

Kiel, please, please, please bring your posse of men with you. Once again, this meetup has outnumbered the amount of men attending. Visuals and presence of men is pertinent. You should know that women generally show later to events like this. So, sticking around a little longer will be beneficial. Let's Game and Mingle People!!!!!

    5 · March 29, 2014

    • Kiel

Marla I hear you and sadly most of the men I know don't realize the value of their presence at events like this where they're outnumbered 4 to 1. Lots of guys (the younger ones) still prefer doing the "stand in the club holding a drink eyeing you from the opposite side of the room" thing. There may not be a lot of guys there but feel free to start a convo with any of the guys in this group. They're all interesting And you ladies need to start dragging along your male friends that are available (not the ones you think would embarrass you or the one you know is a total dog). Help your fellow sisters out lol

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
