Free Adult Salsa Class @ Harlem Children's Zone - All Dance Levels Welcome!

1, 2, 3,....5, 6, 7 -- 1, 2, 3,....5, 6, 7 -- 1, 2, 3,....5, 6, 7

Ever wanted to learn those slick Salsa moves on the dance floor? Want to do something fun afterwork and get a little exercise in at the same time? Well here's a great opportunity to do so - for FREE. Join us for Junior Belone's Salsa Class at the renowned Harlem Children's Zone.

Junior Belone and his team (pictured above) are great, patient instructors who hold a fun 2-hour class for all levels of Salsa dancers - those that are trying a formal lesson for the first time ever (beginners), to intermediates that already are solid "on 2" dancers and are looking to improve turns & spins, to advanced dancers learning extended Salsa moves. Junior has been teaching the class at Harlem Children's Zone since 2009.

To participate in the free salsa class, let the check-in desk know that you're with the HarlemGo Meetup Group for the salsa class. They'll hand you a registration form to fill out. You'll only need to fill out the form this one time, which will allow you to continue to sign up for the class on your own, or with our Meetup group, for up to one year there after!

The class officially starts at 7:00pm, but we'll meetup at 6:30pm to allow time to register. Feel free to bring along a friend or two, and the class ends at 9pm.

Regarding the meet-up: I expected more interaction with other HarlemGo members. I assumed we would hang around, introduce ourselves and just talk until class started. Regarding The Harlem Children's Zone: fantastic. This place has LOTS of interesting things to do. I will definitely return for other activities.

I definitely agree with you. Although I got to meet a few people, I also expected more interaction within our meet-up group. That said, the room was a litte crowded and I didn't know what was going on or who was/ not with us.Let's hope that we all will do better next time.
