For ten years, I directed the a cappella singing group known as Little Old Ladies from Pasadena. All the members have now retired, so I am starting again.
Unaccompanied singing has physical and emotional benefits. Our Wednesday morning meetings are ideal for retired or unemployed women and for stay at home mothers with school age children.
No singing experience is necessary--if you have breath and a heartbeat you can participate. We will practice traditional chants and rounds and then learn longer songs. If some singers want to do performances, we could do that too
