Harold Davis presents "The Art and Craft of Photography."

Event description: In the context of his work, Harold will show how understanding photography and post-production work together to inform the basis of a new art form. The next segment of the presentation will survey some of the sources of creativity, in the context of some Zen ways of thinking---such as the utility of seeing the world with "beginner's mind." He will demonstrate and provide and overview of some of his unique processing techniques. Finally, for those that are interested, he will discuss digital printmaking, and show some prints on interesting substrates, such as Moenkopi Unryu washi and Moab Slickrock Silver.

As usual, Harold delivered a very informative presentation that lived up to the title. His presentation highlighted why photography is both an art and a craft. Thanks for the inspirational talk.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
