I love being able to see something and capture the moment as close to what I was feeling and seeing and when I look at it, remember that moment just as it was when I took the picture. I hope if I can do it right that when I show that photograph to someone else they will also feel and see what I was trying to capture, and be in that moment too. It may not be exactly the same feelings as I am having because they have their own past that will be imprinted upon it, but I want my pictures to stir emotion and thought.
I am pretty new to getting off of Auto, I have been taking pictures for years but really just starting to understand the greater workings of the DSLR.
Anything at this point to me is interesting HDR done right is always a great topic.
I have had a passion for photography since an early age. The best part of going to the doctors office wasn't the Highlights, for me it was finding a National Geographic. The amazing photographs always made me want to be the one behind the camera.
What a great event, thank you to Harold and Phyllis for putting in on. Hope I win the HDR book to add to my growing collection of fantastic books by Harold.
