We take ourselves to be doers (karta) of action (karma); we mistakenly believe we are born and that we die. In these verses, we question the fundamental notion of doership, of subject-object division, and bhava (existence) and abhava (nonexistence).
Connect with others who want to read and discuss the Bhagavad Gita and be supported in spiritual community.
At each meetup, we'll read specific verses and an unfoldment that not only makes them highly accessible--to both Indians and Westerners--but also connects the teaching to daily life. My experience is that it is both practical and transformative.
If you practice yoga, kirtan, or meditation and would like to know the teaching behind them, or if you read on your own, come share and deepen in the teaching.
