Laughter Yoga is an incredibly fun, gentle cardiovascular workout with mental and physical health benefits, including
-lowered stress levels,
-higher levels of endorphins,
-a boost to the immune system,
-increased self-confidence, and
-relief from chronic pain.
A Laughter Yoga “playshop” includes breathing, stretching, laughter exercises, meditation and relaxation. No flexibility required.
Laughter Yoga does not involve traditional humor or comedy. We laugh out of the blue, just for pleasure, to have fun, and feel invigorated!
CLOTHING/WATER: Comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended. No yoga mats needed. A water bottle is also a good idea.
TIME: Laughter Yoga from 6 pm - 7 pm
Happy Healthy Vegetarian Potluck from 7 pm - 8 pm
COST: Free. Donations accepted.
