The Humanist Hub is one of the first-ever places in the US specifically designed as a center for Humanist life -- a place where freethinking, atheist, agnostic, Humanist, nonreligious, and secular people (or FAAHNS, for short ;) can come together to connect, act & evolve.
We believe that connecting to our fellow human beings is one of the most profound ways of creating a meaningful life. We believe in helping one another to act on our convictions and live out our values. And we believe in evolution-- not just in the sense of celebrating Darwin Day, though we do that every year, but we also sincerely hope to evolve as human beings and as a society, over the course of this one and only life we’ll ever have. To do all that here, we’ll be combining music and art, inspiring talks, interfaith outreach, service to those less fortunate, and education to help people of all ages grow into a community.
This is all the product of the Humanist Community at Harvard, which is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1974, originally to serve Humanist students at Harvard. But you don’t have to be a Harvard affiliate to join the Humanist Hub Community. Just bring your heart and mind, your passion and your questions.
