What is your experience with Haskell?

Lots of messing around. Learn You a Haskell for Great Good, Programming in Haskell, plus tutorials.

What is your experience with other functional languages (e.g., Lisp family, ML family)? What about more imperative languages (e.g., Java, C)?

Lots of messing around in Lisp (primarily Racket and Clojure), ML/OCaml, and lately I've been playing with proof assistants. At my day job I primarily code in Python, and I'm very comfortable with Ruby. Some experience with Java/C#.

Former physics major turned programmer. I really love functional programming, particularly in Haskell and Clojure. I also play around with ML/OCaml, type systems, Coq, etc. Engineer at Venmo.
