Haskell "Delivers Productivity for Free" and Eric Jones will tell us how.

Eric Jones, will tell us how to leverage  Haskell's powerful combinator libraries, so that we all can get "productivity for free."

Some libraries are unique to Haskell, others available elsewhere work better in Haskell.

In other language ecosystems libraries are plentiful but uneven in value.   Haskell's libraries are generally rich in quality, as the barrier to create them is high.

Come join us for an exciting exploration of Haskell's combinator libraries and their uses.

I want to start a conversation about how Haskell can be a solution for pain points in other paradigms. Something like "We are Haskell and we are here to help."

A conversation on this can be constructive if it leads to insight into how one can more effectively use the benefits of Haskell to avoid these pain points.

The trains were really late and I missed some of Category theory, but the part I saw was unintelligible, so I left. Maybe Evie, Jeff and Raymond you can give us a summary? People seemed to like it :)
