Game Night

  • April 6, 2013 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

This will be the first meeting for this month.

Bring any games you want and either find partners to play with or join another game that someone else brought.

Food or beverages to share with the group are always welcome. If bringing beverages for yourself or to share, please bring drinks in individual-sized bottles WITH CAPS. Please don't bring cans or 2-liter bottles and cups, because of the risk of spillage (we've had some close calls and don't want anybody's games ruined).

*Please park along Towmencin Ave. instead of Jean Drive.

Please note: there will be a charge of $1 per person to cover the Meetup website fees.

Quieter night, but good people as always! Enjoyed giving VivaJava a try with 5 and testing out the new Veteran and Rescue dog for Flash Point:)

Since I already backed a Dice Hate Me game on Kickstarter, I'd like to try VivaJava.

Anyone have Formula D? Would love to try it. Was described in today's Geek & Sundry episode.

I've got a copy of it but, I left it at home and I'm at my parents for the weekend. I can bring it along for next meet up if you like.

@Garry... Carolyn and Kelly will not be attending. I will probably not be able to make it either.

    Benjamin,
I know Carolyn has it along with some of the extra tracks. I just don't know if she will be there Saturday or not. Kelly usually RSVPs for her, and I see that Kelly won't be there tomorrow. Doesn't mean she won't be there, but she also never checks this site.

I'll be in NYC attending NECSS, forgot to change my RSVP earlier.

I'll also have VivaJava along if there are enough people interested in giving it a try. I've heard it described as the "gamer's party game":). It can play up to 8, and many say it plays best with 7 or 8.

I'll have a PnP copy of Hegemonic (comes out later this year) if anyone would be willing to give it a try (it will likely be a pretty long game). I'd encourage you to look it up on BGG and even take a look through the manual if you have interest in playing. It's ultimately an area control game set in space with technology cards and 3 different ways of expanding your strength/power (industrial, political, and martial).

Will also have a copy of Bora Bora with if people would rather play the latest Feld game instead:)

Looking forward to it. (I was just about to RSVP to the bonus night.)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
