Our country is in the midst of the most severe crisis we have ever faced as a nation...an attack from within our own borders to dissolve the freedoms that our founding fathers and thousands of courageous men and women since have fought and many died for. As a watchdog group, we study pending legislation and other political activities to alert the voting public and to rally them to contact their congressmen and to demand that their voices be represented. It is our goal to help unseat every compromised incumbent when their seat comes up for re-election and to replace them with candidates who represent the principles and values that we recognize as being the foundation laid by our founding fathers as they drafted the Constitution of the United States.

We are an action-oriented group focusing on what we can do to let our voices be heard and to effect the changes we believe our nation needs. We have held 99 events since we formed in February 2009, including a Tea Party on April 15 attended by over 1,100. We also hold membership meetings, informal gatherings and take part in regional and national events.

We are working to raise awareness about current issues and have held forums on major topics including healthcare, immigration enforcement, elections and more. We also take part in activities of affiliate groups like the Mississippi Tea Party, We the People and many more.

Since 2009, the TEA PARTIES have taken our place at the forefront of American politics, having become a force that is taking the dialog from Main Street to the halls of Congress. Our voices matter, and while it may seem at times that we are fighting a losing battle as our nation continues to be overwhelmed with debt, lack of restraint, corruption, scandal and power grabbing, we must remember that God is on His throne and that our duty as Christians is to be in the battle and leave the rest to the LORD. We are engaged in a spiritual battle for the ages between good and evil and we know that Christ has already won the battle, defeating death and claiming the final victory.

Visit our website, volunteer to serve on one of our committees, read books, visit the Message Board and our FILES section for downloadable materials, follow the news, talk to people, listen to WMXI 98.1 FM for the best news talk radio and PRAY for our nation and for our people to turn from sin.
