"Go to the holy of holies. It's the temple inside you. This is the place where all truth comes from. Before there was a written Bible or a printed Gutenberg Bible, before there was Luther's translation, there was the Word in the heart of mankind. This is the temple. Go there. The Spiritual Exercises of ECK can show you how." How to Survive Spiritually in Our Times, MT, Bk 16, Harold Klemp, pp 100-101.
The ECK Worship Service is open to everyone. Led by the Eckankar clergy, the service has the spiritual theme listed above and begins with a short reading. Participants are invited to share in the singing of the HU Song, which is an ancient non-denominational love song to God. It is followed by a short silent contemplation. Speakers and group discussions allow all to share and explore the spiritual theme. The receptivity of the participants to listen to each other gives attendees an opportunity to speak from their hearts. Often attendees come away with new insights for their own lives. The atmosphere and dress are informal.
