There’s been a lot of talk recently about “Mindfulness,” but what exactly is “Mindfulness”? How can it help you? This Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction group will meet on a day that works well for all Wellness Seekers (please note: the Saturday meetup is no longer in effect, please respond with what days/times that you are most likely to attend group) at MLCWC in Haverford. In it, we will describe the foundational attitudes of mindfulness, the evidence-based benefits of using mindfulness-based stress reduction in everyday life, and engage in various types of mindful meditations. We will discuss your experience as you begin your mindfulness practice and learn ways to cultivate and integrate mindfulness as a tool to manage stress, or simply to get centered amidst life’s demands. The purpose of this group is to help those in attendance develop and strengthen what I call the “mindfulness muscle.” You deserve this gift to yourself!
