Konishiki & I invite you to join us at the Magic Island Carnival 2013 at Magic Island at Ala Moana Park! Its a Benefit for the Konishiki Kids Foundation. I plan to go on Friday night at about 7 pm.

(Yup, that's me with the Ozeki Champion at the HNL Sky Club which happens to be located on the ground floor with no view!)

The event will be going on all weekend, March 22, 23, and 24. The hours are Friday 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sunday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. There is FREE ADMISSION & PARKING!

10-Coupon Ride Sheet: $10

Rides require 3, 4 or 5 coupons depending upon the ride

RIDE WRISTBANDS

A 10-ride wristband will be sold on the carnival grounds during the following times.

Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The cost is $25 per wristband. Wristbands must be purchased by 4 p.m., but the ride tabs on the wristband may be used until closing on the day purchased or until all 10 tabs have been used, whichever occurs first.

ENTERTAINMENT STAGE

Enjoy great entertainment throughout the weekend on the entertainment stage.

Konishiki will perform on Friday at 8:30 p.m. and be available throughout the evening for photos and autographs.

Konishiki was born Saleva'a Fuauli Atisano'e and grew up on the Leeward Coast of Oahu. He moved to Japan after high school to pursue a career in Sumo, Japan's traditional national sport. He quickly moved up the ranks in Sumo, eventually becoming the first non-Japanese Sumo wrestler to attain the prestigious title of Ozeki, Sumo's second highest rank. Konishiki retired from Sumo in 1998. He maintains residences in Japan and Hawaii and is an accomplished recording artist and television personality in Japan.
