Aloha folders! That time of the year is coming up again, and by THAT I mean the Honolulu Festival! Every year the Hawaii Origami Club participates in this cultural event. Our members come and teach people how to fold origami at our own booth, located in the Ennichi corner (under a big red flag). The festival this year is on March 7th (Friday), 8th (Saturday), and 9th (Sunday). Here are the times our booth is open on each day:
Friday, March 7th: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Saturday, March 8th: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Sunday, March 9th: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
On Friday, the Festival has Educational School Tours. Schools from all over the island come to learn and participate in activities at the festival. For more information, go to the following link: http://www.honolulufestival.com/eng/festival_program.php
Please come and participate! You can hang out and fold with us for as long as you like, meet other members, talk story, and have a good time. If you're interested, please RSVP as soon as you can, so that I may have a rough estimate of how many people will be joining us.
