Potluck featuring Hawaiian Beef Stew with Homegrown Taro

Aloha all Ohana family members! Please join our potluck and bring your favorite beverage, dish, dessert, pupus/snacks or other goodies. We will enjoy our potluck in my garden, surrounded by succulents, bromeliads, veggies and lilikoi (passion fruit). 

We will be enjoying my famous onolicious Hawaiian Beef Stew with Taro leaves grown in my garden, and homemade Lomi-Lomi Salmon Salad with green and white onions

I will be providing ice, cups, plates, utensils, water, zinfandel wine, steamed rice, munchies and soft drinks.

I will also be giving away Bromeliad Tillansia Cuttings and Purple Hawaiian Sugar Cane Stalks for your home garden

Suggested Donation: $10

Parking/Transportation: Lots of parking on Waimano Home Road---East Side Only And Hawaii Stae Library Lot. 2 City Bus stops right by the house for easy access. For any rides or carpool let us pool together as a family to help each other out via e-mail or under comments or phone.

Feel free to bring a chair. Please do not be a No Show. You can come late if your schedule requires.

    I'm so sorry I missed this! I did an early morning hike that was supposed to be done by noon, but did not finish till 5!!
    I was really looking forward to some great food and company after the hike.
    Thank you for arranging this event. I hope to be able to attend the next one. :)

      Good Morning, Nikki, Too bad U missed the event in the garden. What hiking group was that? Should have came. Folks were there until 730PM. Just relaxing and talking story. Even took folks on a tour of the garden and yard seeing all that was there. Some others even showed up late, too.

    The peop that showed for this event had fun, cozy, serene atmosphere, great company, good conversation, lots of good food the salmon salad/baked Uhu/Hawaiian beef stew with taro from my garden, and had a wondeful time. (David, Terry, Donna, Zach, Noriko, Katie, Maria, Priscilla, Doris, Robbie). Too bad we had 11 people that did not Show Up (Dominique, Linda, Bill, Lucy, Nicole + 1, Patricia, Lucy, Priscilla + 2). Unknown what happened and no reasons

    Good Morning N Aloha Kakiaka To All Personell attending the event on Saturday 03/29 at 100PM / 1300 Hrs. Parking is either on the East Side Of Waimano Home Road or at HI State Library Parking Lot across my at 1151. Look for the Orange Traffic Cone by the tree and Taro Plant. There is a Bus Stop by the house, but it is a very short walk if U care to. U can catch either 40 or 42 or 62 going West Bound jump off by Tesoro then walk up Waimano Home to Bus Stop by Foodland. Board Bus 53 heading up the road then pull the buzzer to the next stop then walk down 3 houses then U have reached 1151. I thank each and everyone of U for attending my event potluck safe serene garden setting. Mahalo, Muchas Gracias, And With Smiles Of Aloha!!!
